themselves, 22,6% treated by national medicine and only
22,9% visited doctors. The motivation of such attitude to
their health was economical (32,1%) or industrial
necessities (20.9%), the life style, the initial family
regulations, the upbringing (36,2%).Each the third of the
averaged medical workers had chronicle diseases:
cardiovascular system (58,2%), the organs of respiratory
system (35,3%), motive supporting apparatus (3,9%). The
chronicle pathology formation was in the period of youth
(34,6%) and maturity (35,1%). The seven out of ten
medical nurses had chronicle diseases while studying at
medical college or working in a hospital. 42,2% out of 109
people was in the dispensary registration, suffering from
chronicle diseases. Thus, 18,7% followed doctors’
recommendations, but 39,6% tried to regulate the regimen
of work and rest, only 5,5% limited periodically having a
rest in a sanatorium, 28,6% couldn’t allow themselves
rehabilitation procedures. So, the medical nurses’ health
condition can be estimated low, destructive, not
contributing to its safety and strengthening due to life
regulations. The declared attitude to health is positive as a
great value, one of the main life priorities. According to
DTI of medical nurses’ illness made up 330 days to 100 in
2005, the quarter lower than the industry average. Within
5 years the reduce of diseases quantity is observed up to
36,2%, the days of incapacity up to 30,0% and this
recession fixed practically in all cases of diseases, excepting
the diseases of osseous and muscular systems, where the
relative stability is present. In comparison of DTI indices
with the questionnaire results were revealed the increase
of illness cases 4, 5 times. Therefore, on the basis of illness
complaints, it made up 4952 cases per year, the temporary
incapacity -1102. The third of medical nurses satisfied the
quality and the volume of prophylactic examinations
(39,6%), the same quantity considered these examinations
as formality. (39,3%). Each the eighth of the workers
supposed that therewere no prophylactic and rehabilitation
procedures according to them. For hygienic characteristics
of medical nurses, life conditions, material status, labor
condition, psychological climate in the family and in the
working staff were studied. Only the third of colleagues
with averaged medical education satisfied by present
material social conditions. The majority part of averaged
medical nurses (95,6%) realized a favorable microclimate
in the family, the most important thing for them, less the
half (45,9%) had harmonic spouse relations, and each the
third of the family contacts caused anxieties, pain and
sufferings. Thus, in the comparison aspect 83% considered
themselves happier than the surroundings. Medical nurses’
job differ in high level of neuroemotional tension remarked
by 80,7% of them , many physical loads (58,3%), working
in an obligatory pose (47,7%), in the conditions of
informational pressing (41,0%). It brings to the fact that
each the seventh nurse suffered from the tiredness in the
middle of working shift, and each the 14th began the
working day without a rest. Only 4% of medical nurses
allowed themselves a little rest during a job at any time,
the rest had extremely intensive schedule. Each the third
liked the job and brought the satisfaction.
The average level of medical nurses’ satisfaction of their
positions made up 3,4, corresponding the uncertainty
zone: 11,8% of nurses didn’t satisfy their positions, 41,1%
found out their positions neither bad or good, 47,1%
estimated as “more satisfied ”. The level of the whole
satisfaction correlated with the professional satisfaction
(r=+0,78) and the level of material compensation
(r=+0,49). According to our research, the two third
represents of medical nurse specialty love their job, more
than 72% of nurses satisfy with it. Though, If they had the
choice of specialty, 59,8% of them would have the same
alternative. The third quarter respondents would never
recommend the young generation to choose and become
an averaged medical worker, as this job –less paid (80%),
not prestige (47,6%), not respected by the surroundings
(23,6%), immoral satisfaction (14,4%) doing not peculiarly
things to the profession, less interesting job (9,2%).Each
the third nurse (33, 6%) informed that if she had a
possibility she would change this job to more prestige and
highly paid. The obtained data make us think over
procedures to strengthen the prestige of nurse specialty.
To create a virtual and ideal portrait of a nurse, the
opinions of patients, doctors and averagedmedical workers
were analyzed and carried out the comparison with the
reality. To the patients’ points of view, an ideal nurse must
be professional in her job (95%), having the number of
personal features (42%), for each fifth the appearance data
of a nurse had an importance. In the rating of professional
qualities such as conscientious, assiduity, attentiveness
and disciplinary prevailed. Only each the fifth patient
recognized the individuality of the averaged medical
nurse’s activity, the rest considered that a medical
nurse –the executive of doctor’s instructions, and they
never took into consideration that a medical nurse – the
assistant of a doctor. Doctors estimated professionalism
(96%) in medical nurses, the actuality of personal features
-57%, the appearance data were important for 34%. In the
rating of professional features, the leading positions took
place attention (82%), conscientious (89%), assiduity and
reaction quickness (87%), disciplinary (71%). Doctors
remarked the human features such as kindheartedness in
relation (87%), patience and responsive (77%), tolerance
in communication with patients (83%), sociability (79%)
and sympathy (62%). The medical nurses considered that
it was the time to make reforms in nurse affair, but
according to its character they disagreed in opinions:
42,6% voted for palliative changes, 42,9% – radical
modernization of the whole nurse service. What do we
need to change 94,8% of nurses supposed to have more
independence in the nurse service, 84,7% thought if they
had the changes in salary all the problems would be solved
in the service, but 21,9% considered that the main changes
must be oriented on the relation alteration to the nurse
